Everything started here. The ACROPOLI ALPHAMEGA hypermarket is the first hypermarket built by the Ch. A. Papaellinas Company Ltd. Group, the first two-story hypermarket in Cyprus. It opened on 3 October 2002, with the ambitious aim of becoming the most convenient hypermarket in Nicosia. And it has done so. It was built in such a way as to offer practical, easy, and comfortable shopping and, consequently, a unique quality service to the consumer.

The ACROPOLIS ALPHAMEGA succeeded in earning the trust of its customers thanks to the quality, the abundance, and freshness of its products, but also the easy access to its products making shopping a pleasant experience. At the ground floor customers find all fresh products of the fruit market, the fish market, the butchery, the bakery, the delicatessen shop as well as everyday items such as milk, cheeses, coffees, drinks etc., whist going up to the first floor, they can find items of sanitation, personal hygiene, stationary, gifts, kitchen utensils, decorative items and lots more. The establishment of the pioneering escalator that takes customers to the first floor whilst, at the same time, a separate system carries trolleys without any human intervention, has made shopping between the two floors a child’s play.

The Hypermarket has a modern cafeteria for relaxation as well as a bank, an ATM machine, newspapers and magazines. It also has an open air parking space for over a hundred cars as well as a semi-covered, semi-basement space for another hundred cars providing for easy access to the hypermarket through an escalator.
