A brand new super-model ALPHAMEGA Hypermarket opened its doors in Paphos on Monday 28 November. This is the 6th Hypermarket to join the ALPHAMEGA family.

 

The new modern ALPHAMEGA Paphos, is right at the entrance of the town and is designed according to the needs and demands of modern consumers. The Hypermarket has a fresh vegetable and fruit department, a meat market, a fish market, a bakery, a delicatessen as well as liquor store. Butchery

Only the freshest meats from local specific abattoirs and specially selected importers, is delivered to our butchers- and this is only after the rigorous quality inspection. Add to this the fact that we have the very best state-of-the-art chilling systems to ensure the meat is stored in a hazard-free environment, and you will beginto understand our commitment to health and safety standarts. This commitment in only matched by our efforts to offer our customers a selection of meats that satisfies and exceeds all their tastes and demands.

Pork: all cuts are available on a daily basis, even specific cuts such as fillets, spare ribs and lounza. We also offer a large selection of pre-packed meats such as pan-fry pork, pork burgers, spicy pork, pork "sheftalia", pork schnitzel, Greek donner kebab, marinated kebab, minced meat loaf, pork steaks, marinated pork steaks, lounza pork with seasoning and Chinese spareribs .

Chicken: a series of suppliers in a daily basis provides to our customers with the greatest variety in Chicken. There is a wide selection of pre-packed chicken meats such us chicken burgers, chicken pane, wings, chicken fillets, stuffed chicken, wings with barbecue sauce, chicken fillet stuffed with feta cheese, chicken fillet with grated cheese and sweet corn, kebab with tandouri and lemon, chicken kebab, chicken curry and Indonesian fillet.

Lamb: our lamb is bred and slaughtered locally. The lamb is available of a specific weight and does not exceed 16 kg.

Beef: local beef is delivered daily to our store. There is also a delivery of French beef from a well known French supplier who supplies beef to leading outlets all over Europe. We offer "A" guality bon-fillet, rump steak and silroin steak. Our beef is 100% pure without added preservatives. We also supply fillet steak from Argentina and Ireland that is delivered every week.

Veal: a weekly delivery from Holland of top guality fresh veal is available.

 

Fruit & Vegetable Market

A huge range of seasonal fresh, local fruit and vegetables, all carefully inspected and from leading suppliers, arrives daily at our fruit and vegetable market. For customers seeking something a little different or exotic, there is always a wide selection to choose from.

We have a variety of exotic fruits, such as blackberries, blueberries, rasperries, cranberries, redpitaya, granodilla, tamarillo, lychees, rambutann, mangostan and more. We also offer specialized salad vegetables such as beansprouts, as well as Lollo rosso, Iceberg and Oakleaf lettuce, chicory and Chinese cabbage.

We start our day early morning at the fruit market docking station, carefully selecting the best fruits and vegetables which are then packed in convenient family size trays. Our goal is to help you save shopping time whily ensuring you are getting the best guality of products, no matter what time your visit is at the fruit market.

Furthermore, because we know how precious your time is, we provide pre-packed processed, ready to wash and cook, seasonal vegetables and lentils such as beans, black-eye peas, artichokes, 'kolokasi', okra, prickly peas, fava beans etc. Finally we also offer a very popular side range of approved Cypriot and imported organic products.

Fishmongers

Our fishmongers boast a huge selection of top quality local and imported fish and seafood at the most competitive prices. We only supply fish from reliable supplies who provide packaging approved by the European Union to ensure the best quality. Once delivered, all fish go through rigorous inspection prior to being sold. Our staff undertakes the cleaning and preparation of the fish you have chosen.

A large range of products is available according to the season. Local fish is mostly cultivated in local fish farms or comes from the seas around Cyprus. Imported fish is fresh and comes from specific known and approved fish farms around the world. specific fish, such as Norwegian salmon, is also available for our discerning customers. This comes directly from the countrly of origin to Cyprusm fresh and not frozen. We also receive weekly shipments of fresh shellfish, such as scallops, mussels, oysters, crabs and lobsters from France and Greece, as well as a range of fresh fish fillets including sea bream, tuna fish, bream and perch. Finally, available are fresh marinated swordfish, salmon, octobus and squid.

 

Delicatessen
