Chilli and honey lamb

Ingredients: 
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon seeded mustard
  • 1 teaspoon graded lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon sambal oelek
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 8 lamb cutlets (600g)

Preparation: 

Preparation time 10 minutes (plus marinating time). Cooking time 15 minutes.

1) Combine garlic, mustard, rind, juice, honey, curry powder, sambal oelek and turmeric in medium bowl.

2) Rub mixture onto lamb, place in large bowl. Cover, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

3) Cook lamb on heated oiled barbecue, uncovered, until browned and cooked as desired.

4) Serve with char-grilled asparagous, red capsicum and lemon, if desired.
