Preparation time 40 minutes, cooking tine 1 hour 5 minutes.
1. Boil, steam or microwave spinach until just wilted, drain. Squeeze as much liquid as possible from spinach, chop coarsely. Combine egg, ricotta, parmesan and onion in large bowl, stir in spinach.
2. Spread half of the pasta sauce over base of oiled shallow baking dish. Cover with 3 sheets lasagne, top with a third of the spinach mixture. Cover spinach layer with three sheets of the lasagne, repeat layering with remaining spinach mixture and remaining lasagne sheets. Top lasagne with remaining pasta sauce, sprinkle with cheddar.
3. Cover lasagne with foil, bake in moderate oven 40 minutes.
4. Remove foil, bake further 20 minutes or until top is browned.
