Piquant grilled steaks

Ingredients: 
  • ¼ cup (60ml) soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry sherry
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 4 beef T-bone steaks (1kg)

Preparation: 

Preparation time 5 minutes (plus marinating time), cooking time 10 minutes.

 

1) Combine sauces, sugar, sherry, garlic and oil in large shallow dish, add beef. Cover, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

2) Drain beef, reserve marinade.

3) Cook beef on heated oiled barbecue, uncovered, until browned and cooked as desired, brushing with reserved marinade during cooking.

4) Serve beef with salad, if desired.
