Sesame lamb

Ingredients: 
  • 1kg lamb eye of loin
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup (175g) honey
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 500g asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted

Preparation: 

Preparation time 15 minutes (plus marinating and standing time), cooking time 15 minutes.

 

1) Combine lamb, garlic, honey and oil in large bowl. Cover, refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

2) Drain lamb, discard marinade. Cook lamb on heated oiled barbecue until browned all over and cooked as desired. Stand 5 minutes, slice thinly.

3) Meanwhile, cook asparagus on heated oiled barbecue until tender.

4) Serve lamb with asparagus, sprinkle with seeds.
