Ingredients: 
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.8kj  pork neck
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 bacon rashers (215g), chopped finely
  • 2 medium brown onions (300g) sliced thinly
  • 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 375ml can beer
  • 1 cup (200g) dried haricot beans
  • 1 ½ cup (375ml) chicken stock
  • ¼ small (300g) white cabbage, shredded finely

  • 2 ham hocks (1.5kg)
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) dry red wine
  • 2 cups (500ml) chicken stock

  • 3 finger eggplants (180g), chopped coarsely
  • 1 small Swede (150g), chopped coarsely
  • 300g pumpkin, chopped coarsely
  • 1 medium carrot (120g), chopped coarsely
  • ½ cup (125ml) tomato puree
  • 1 large zucchini (150g), chopped coarsely
  • 150g button mushrooms, halved
  • 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh basil
