ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets and Unilever make the vision of a Sustainable School come true!

Together with the “Small Tree” and in collaboration with Unilever & Cymepa, ALFAMEGA Hypermarkets continue for the 3rd year a very successful initiative, which sensitizes children about the environment. Our goal is to put together the vision for a sustainable school, as the love for the environment starts from schools.

Thanks to you, our consumers, we have already helped 27 schools become more sustainable, through daily changes and new tactics that can easily be adapted to protect the environment. In this way, our children learn from an early age the behaviors that will help them build a better world for their future.|

In 2019 and 2020, together we all managed to offer in 14 schools, 2000 lunchboxes that are recyclable - so they can be used again and again, reducing the use of disposable plastics by students.
 
We also supplied 13 primary schools with 7500 pcs. of liquid handwash, limiting the use of plastic packaging and supporting the personal hygiene of children, especially now that it is more necessary than ever!
