Alphamega Hypermarkets Create the "Perfect Dish" with New Brand Ambassador, Chef Christina Christofi

At a press conference held at The Block Restaurant of the University of Nicosia on Thursday, October 17, 2024, Alphamega Hypermarkets announced their new collaboration with the talented Cypriot chef, Christina Christofi, and welcomed her to their "brigade." Starting this October, the inventive chef will take on the role of brand ambassador for Alphamega Hypermarkets, with her "menu of actions" including, among other things, participating in Alphamega Hypermarkets events, masterclasses, live cooking shows in special kitchens set up in the chain's stores, and creating culinary content that will be posted on the Hypermarkets' website and social media accounts.
Chef Christina Christofi, with culinary studies in Cyprus and the United Kingdom, achieved second place in the Masterchef marathon final and won the hearts of thousands of viewers in Cyprus and Greece with her immense talent and the authenticity and quality of her character. During the press conference, Ms. Natasa Constantinidou, Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at Alphamega Hypermarkets, expressed her particular satisfaction with the collaboration between the Hypermarkets and the chef and referred to their joint future plans. In turn, Christina Christofi welcomed the collaboration and stated, emphasizing her joy at joining the Alphamega Hypermarkets family, her readiness to contribute creatively to the Hypermarkets' actions that will take place in the near future.
The new Alphamega Hypermarkets television spot, titled "This is how the perfect dish is made," was then screened, dedicated to the search for the perfect recipe. The television spot will be broadcast on our television screens from October 17, bringing the beloved chef, who stood out in the big cooking competition - from her audition to the final - back to the viewers' homes.
Subsequently, Ms. Natasa Constantinidou announced the participation of Chef Christina Christofi in the ALPHA MEGA Run As One, scheduled for October 20, with the organization of nutritional workshops for children. During the workshops, young cooks will have the opportunity to meet the chef in person and make healthy snacks with her help, as part of the promotion of balanced nutrition which the event aims for.
After the end of the conference, members of the media and Alphamega Hypermarkets partners got a taste of Masterchef, participating in a cooking competition held at the University of Nicosia premises. The special competition combined the "Mystery Box" and "Follow the Chef" challenges, as the goal was to prepare a demanding surprise recipe, following the chef's instructions. The two outstanding dishes were declared winners and were awarded a special prize that transported the participants to the creative and exciting world of Masterchef.
