    Prepare Use Usage: -Before first use place in boiling water for 5 minutes, use sufficient water to avoid damage. For hygiene reasons, before each further use, first clean thoroughly using mild washing up liquid and then sterilize. We recommend using a NUK Steriliser for sterilization. -For hygiene reasons: after cleaning and/or sterilization, press out any residual liquid from the mouthpiece and leave the soother to dry afterwards. -Do not clean the soother in a dishwasher as detergents can damage the product. -For hygienic treatment in the microwave: Firstly, fill the pacifier box with the water up to the bottom line of the marking. Then, insert the pacifier into the water in the box. To ensure even heating and to avoid material damage, place the box off-centre on the microwave turntable. IMPORTANT: Heat the closed box for 4 minutes at the power level/wattage engraved onto the box. Please also follow the microwave instructions. Leave the microwave closed for 5 minutes. Warning: risk of scalding remains, even after 5 mins. If quantity of water, time or wattage are incorrect, this may damage the product! Empty out any water remaining. Leave soothers to dry in the open box. Check that the soothers are not still too hot before use! Keep soother box out of the reach of children. Suitable for NUK soothers only. - Shelf life: 4 years from production date – see stamp (applies when the soother is kept under dry and hygienic storage conditions, at room temperature and shielded from direct sunlight).

    Safety Warnings For your child’s safety: WARNING! Inspect carefully before each use, especially when the child has teeth. Pull the soother in all directions. Throw away at first signs of damage or weakness. Only use dedicated soother holders to EN 12586. Never attach other ribbons or cords to a soother, your child may be strangled by them. Do not leave in direct sunlight or near a source of heat or leave soother in sterilizing solution for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the soother. In rare individual cases children manage to put the soother into the mouth completely. In such an event, DO NOT PANIC! Due to its special design, the soother cannot be swallowed, and the two aspiration holes ensure sufficient breathing. Remove the soother from the child’s mouth as gently as possible. Do not deep the soother in medicine or sweet substances and do not lick the soother. Both can cause caries (tooth decay) to your child. For reasons of safety and hygiene, replace the soother after 1-2 months use. This is very important, as even without visible damage the stability of the soother may have been weakened.
