All you need is: 90ml vegetable oil (6tbsp), 180ml water, 3 medium free range eggs, 1 Tub of Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Style Icing, Strawberry Jam, 2x8” well-greased cake tins (or 2x regular size muffin trays & cupcake cases). Only 3 steps to cake heaven…1. Mix the eggs, oil, water and cake mix gently together and whisk (by hand or electric mixer) for 2-3 minutes until smooth and creamy. 2. Pour the cake mixture evenly into your two greased cake tins. For cupcakes pour mix evenly into the cupcake cases**. 3. Bake in the center of the oven for 22-27 minutes or until a rounded knife inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. For cupcakes bake both tray together for 18-22 minutes**. Then cool on a wire rack. To make the most perfect Victoria Sponge Cake, put a layer of Betty Crocker Vanilla Buttercream Style Icing on the bottom half of the cake and then a layer of strawberry jam, sandwich together and sprinkle with icing sugar..cake perfection!
