Traditional Cypriot Recipe
Prepare Use | Warm 1 L of whole milk in a cooking pan on medium heat for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour in the content of the 3 sachets and stir continuously with a whisk until the rice pudding boils. As soon as the rice pudding heats up, lower and continue to stir the mixture for an additional 4-5 minutes. Once the rice pudding is ready, it can be served in a small bowl. Allow the rice pudding to cool and then refrigerate. You can enjoy the rice pudding with a cinnamon topping. Instead of cinnamon in your rice pudding, add raw honey, ham or raisins. Note: For smaller portions, you can use one sachet (70 g) with 1/3 of the quantity of milk |
