Prepare Use | Just Add: 1 medium egg, 2 tbsp (30 ml) of vegetable oil, 3 tbsp (45 ml) of cold water and willpower (so you don't eat them all at once!) A mixing bowl A wooden spoon. A 17.5cm (7in) square baking tin. A little butter for greasing. How to make soft, fudgy Brownies: Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. 1. Set your oven to 180ºC/350ºF/Gas Mark 4 and leave it to warm up. 2. Grease your baking tin with a little butter - this will stop your brownie from sticking 3. Put your brownie mix into a bowl, add the egg, water and vegetable oil. 4. Beat it all with a wooden spoon and don't worry, it doesn't have to be super-smooth! 5. Now, spoon the mix into your tray and spread it out evenly, pressing it into all four corners. 6. Place it in the centre of your oven and cook for 20 minutes. When it's ready, take it out of the oven and leave it to cool in the tin. Once cooled, divide equally into 12 brownies. Then just try and resist for as long as you can! Top tip: Why not make your Brownies extra chocolaty and add a handful of white chocolate chunks your mix |
