Prepare Use | 60 g to 80 g of uncooked rice per person are suggested. Pour water into a large saucepan and bring to boil. Slightly salt. Add the rice in the boiling water and stir regularly. Let it cook for 10 to 12 minutes without lid. Check the rice by tasting it. Drain and season it according to your taste. For pilaf: with this type of cooking the mineral salts and the vitamins of the rice are preserved. Brown a part of rice with a little fat and, according to your taste, add spices, diced vegetables or sliced onion. When the rice grains turn translucent, add 1.5 part of boiled and salted water.
