ALPHAMEGA VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2020: This year we run for our kids from every part of Cyprus!
ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets are organizing the 5th RUN AS ONE, a series of running races, which is part of the Hypermarkets’ Corporate Social Responsibility program “Child, Nutrition, and Health”. The successful event attracts more than 2,000 participants every year and has established itself as the most fun running event of Nicosia.
This year, RUN AS ONE is turning into the most fun running event of Cyprus, as there will be no specific location and runners will be able to participate virtually from every part of Cyprus! As the Hypermarkets show scrupulous respect for all necessary protection and social distancing measures, the event comes back as ALPHAMEGA VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2020, from the 15th until the 25th of October. RUN AS ONE continues conveying the message that “We run for our kids”, under any circumstances, and still encourages older people to be a good example for the younger generations.
VIRTUAL RUN AS ONE 2020 includes Half Marathon 21K, Corporate Run 5K, Individual Run 5K, 1K Fun Run for children and parents, but also Individual Run 10K, which is a new entry! Runners from any part of Cyprus can run the distance of their choice, record their time and upload it to the event’s website www.runasone.eu.
Either they like to run along their favorite natural trail or at their neighborhood park or even on a treadmill, participants can take part in this special event and run one more time for our kids!

ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE – Identity
ALPHAMEGA RUN AS ONE is an annual event, part of the “Child, Nutrition & Health” program of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets. The aim of the event, which is organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Dietetic & Nutrition Association, is to promote the importance of healthy eating habits and regular exercise starting from childhood.
All net revenues from the race’s participations are offered so that children 9-12 years old can have a personalized nutrition plan based on their individual needs, free of charge.
