Maple syrup and Berries Croissant Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 butter croissants
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml milk, whole
  • 200 ml cream
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 100 g berries (i.e. blueberries, strawberries, brambles)
  • 30 ml maple syrup to serve

Preparation

  1. Line a 20x20 cm pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each croissant into 8-10 pieces and place them in the pan.
  3. In a bowl add the eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla. Stir and pour over the croissants and allow the mixture to be absorbed for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the berries and bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve with maple syrup.
