
Feta Parcel with Honey, Thyme & Rose Petals

Ingredients
For the feta:
- 200 g feta (cut into square pieces)
- 2 sheets phyllo pastry
- 2 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
For the honey syrup:
- 50 g honey
- 50 g butter
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tsp thyme (fresh or dried)
- 1 tsp rose petals (edible, dried)
- zest of ½ orange
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the phyllo sheets in half and the feta into 4 pieces.
- Take each phyllo sheet, brush it with melted butter, and place the feta on the sheet. Fold it like a parcel, making sure it closes securely.
- Brush the outside with the melted butter and place the parcels on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, heat the honey and butter until they melt and combine.
- Remove from heat and add the sesame seeds, thyme, rose petals, and orange zest.
- Once out of the oven, drizzle with the aromatic honey mixture.
