Aromatic Gluehwein with Orange and Apple

Cooking time 10 minutes
Ingredients for 4 portions
1ltr red wine
1 cinnamon stick Ceylon
1 star anise
1 red apple
- In a small pot warm the wine at 45c and pour in the sugar and let it dissolve.
- Add cinnamon, cloves, star anise, half an apple and cut orange slices and keep cooking in a low heat at 45c for 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve the Gluehwein warm with some sliced apple and orange.
