Italian Pizza with Spinach and Egg
Preparation Time 75 Minutes
Cooking Time 30 Minutes
Serving: 6 large pizzas
Ingredients for dough
1kg farina flour
5gr. Dry yeast
2gr. Sugar
500ml. Water
10gr. Salt
1 tbs Olive oil
Ingredients for sauce
200 gr ripe tomatoes
2gr. Oregano
2gr. Basil
1 tbs olive oil
50gr. Sugar
Salt / Pepper
Ingredients for stuffing
50 spinach leafs
800gr. Mozzarella grated
6 eggs
100gr. Parmesan flakes
20 ripe cherry tomatoes cut in half
1 tbs olive oil
Preparation
- For dough: In a mixer bowl, mix the flour, salt and olive oil. Then soak yeast and sugar in cup of warm water. When yeast is swell add theflour.
- Finally add the rest of the water slowly until the dough soft.
- Form dough into balls and make sure each weighs 200 gr and leave them to rest for 1 hour in warm place.
- For pizza sauce: Blend all ingredients for sauce.
- Roll pizza dough in round flat shape and place in pizza tray. Fork the dough and spread the pizza sauce. Add mozzarella cheese.
- Add spinach leafs and tomatoes and then add 1 egg in center of each pizza.
- Bake in preheated oven at 220c for 10-15 minutes.
- When the cheese is golden brown and the dough is cooked, remove from the oven.
- Slice and serve with olive oil and Parmesan flakes.
