Cooking time 30 minutes

ingredients for 8 portions 

8 pears peeled

700ml water

1000ml white wine

800gr sugar

1g Saffron

1 Cinnamon stick

2 Cloves


  1. Add all ingredients except pears in pot, simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Add pears and simmer for 20 minutes more.
  3. Remove from fire and let the pears cool down in pot with aromatic wine.
