Pears in White Wine and Saffron

Cooking time 30 minutes
ingredients for 8 portions
8 pears peeled
700ml water
1000ml white wine
800gr sugar
1g Saffron
1 Cinnamon stick
2 Cloves
Preparation
- Add all ingredients except pears in pot, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add pears and simmer for 20 minutes more.
- Remove from fire and let the pears cool down in pot with aromatic wine.
