Ingredients for 4 portions

1 ltr milk

70gr corn starch

3 t.sp. vanilla powder

250gr sugar

110gr rosewater

11gr rice

1 star anise

Cinnamon


Preparation

  1. Boil rice and strain.
  2. Simmer milk (keep aside 100ml), add sugar and star anise.
  3. Dissolve corn starch at 100 ml milk. Add to first mixture and mix in low heat for 5-8 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick.
  4. Remove star anise and add rice.
  5. Leave the mixture to cool down in service bowl.
  6. Season with cinnamon.
