Rice pudding flavoured with star anise and cinnamon
Preparation time 5 minutes
Cooking time 15 minutes
Ingredients for 4 portions
1 ltr milk
70gr corn starch
3 t.sp. vanilla powder
1 star anise
- Boil rice and strain.
- Simmer milk (keep aside 100ml), add sugar and star anise.
- Dissolve corn starch at 100 ml milk. Add to first mixture and mix in low heat for 5-8 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick.
- Remove star anise and add rice.
- Leave the mixture to cool down in service bowl.
- Season with cinnamon.
