Wave of love: ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets and the consumer public offered Ocean Buddy plushies and moments of joy to children at Makareio Hospital
On the morning of September 27th, the children hospitalized at Makarios Hospital received a huge wave of love, as part of an event organized by ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets to offer them moments of joy and plush characters from the "Ocean Buddies" series. The pleasant mood of the event was raised by the Ocean Buddy mascots, who were photographed with the children and danced with them as well.
The was made possible by the valuable contribution of the customers of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets, who chose to participate in the specific Stick & Win reward program and transferred and donated their coupons to an organization with the mission of caring for children.
On behalf of ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets, the director of Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility, Mrs. Natasa Constantinidou, thanked the customers of the Hypermarkets who participated in this cause. In addition, she conveyed warm wishes to the children for a speedy recovery and thanked the staff of Makarios Hospital for their hospitality, their work, and their continuous contribution.
In his turn, the Medical Director and Director of the Pediatric Surgery Clinic of the Makarios Hospital, Dr. Christos Minas, expressed his gratitude both to ALPHAMEGA Hypermarkets and to the consumer public who participated in the initiative with their donation.
The action of the Stick & Win program, starring the "friends of the Ocean" ran with great success from June 12 to September 17, and continued its action outside the Hypermarket stores. In collaboration with Green Dot, ALPHAMEGA Supermarkets organized games and activities in schools and kindergartens, with the aim of developing children's environmental awareness.
