Linguine with creamy sauce and sausage

  • 500g linguine package DE CECCO no7
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 250g chicken sausage (cut into slices)
  • 1-2 cloves of melted garlic
  • 2 cups chopped tomatoes
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup grated parmesan
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Cooking Method

  1. In a large pot with salted water, boil the pasta according to package instructions, until al dente
  2. Pour the olive oil into a pan and fry the sausage on medium heat until golden brown. Add the garlic, mix for another 1 minute, add the tomatoes, cream and Parmesan and season with salt and pepper.
  3.  Lower the heat and let all the ingredients bind for 5 minutes.
  4. Transfer the pasta and spinach to the sauce and mix well.
  5. Serve immediately, and garnish with basil leaves
